Kura5 Bug Fix Update

Hello everybody!

Thank you to those who played the game thus far! People have been reporting bugs to me, and since some of these bugs are soft locks I wanted to get out this update that will hopefully fix all that. So, I have replaced the Kura5 downloadables with the update.

If your game is soft locked, try transferring your save file (save.bok in Kura5_data) over to this new version. If that still doesn't work, get into contact with me and I will help out the best I can. :)

  • The Knight Frame should no longer disappear from your inventory if you die as Emil.
  • You can no longer walk through ivy.
  • Picking up/using an item should always be mapped to whatever the taiyoh button is.
  • Coffin no longer disappears once its hooked up to the piledriver.
  • Getting knocked back should now cause less wall clipping.
  • Piledriver should no longer soft lock when transitioning from day to night or have one bar of sunlight.
  • You should no longer be falling through the floor in the camp area.
  • Fixed up some jank involving player invincibility state.
  • Emil's sword no longer attracts enemies by hitting walls.
  • Annie and Emil's controls should feel less stiff. (turning is more snappy, lessened Annie's gun delay, etc)
  • Changed one puzzle in the camp dungeon.
  • Attempting to activate the piledriver with one character KOed will no longer softlock the game.
  • Emil's sword hitboxes have been adjusted to be more forgiving.
  • Non perishable items should actually not perish.
  • Removed a few unskippable tutorial dialogue lines. (As in you can skip them now)
  • Unripe monstera fruit can now ripen.
  • Removed that one gravestone that displayed your pc name, buried good ol' David there instead.
  • Rooms should generally be more consistent about sunlight/shadow levels now.

Thank you and keep the sun always in your heart!
