Below are the issues that have been addressed in the 1.01 version. Most of them are the bugs that were reported over the first week of gameplay. Big thanks to everyone who did! Unmarked spoilers ahead, obviously.
Below are issues that were tested and confirmed fixed:
- Tinycaw is now back in the folder where he belongs :)
- A tips page is now linked in the README files as well for those who want to spot check their playthrough.
- Inverted Annie's summon attacks now ignore blocking and also auto-aim when not targeting
- Petit Val's vertical range has been increased so he can now hit objects that he is taller than
- The Stradigladius' charge attack no longer hits in a 360 degree angle, and also now launches a judgement cut upon counter
- The Shady Mett now moves to the Bandit Camp if you did not purchase the tickets in Dark City
- Spreads no longer ignore a boss' defenses
- A3's first phase got a very minor perception buff
- Added some ENE bugs to the loot room in the Lunar Mines near the frozen huntresses to let Annie recharge a little bit before the Feral Emil fight
- Fixed various issues involving characters being active and the softlocks/infinite game over states that would happen because of it
- Addressed several instances where Annie or Emil would appear in cutscenes even if they're not in the party
- Adjusted counter on Boks and Skeletons as the timing was wonk on them
- Went through and marked a few walls as "unwalkable" so that the player can't get stuck on top of/inside them
- Fixed a phew "phantom" talk boxes that were popping up in Jobim's area
- Jobim now acknowledges when the player skips the first trap in Terra City during NG+
- Getting a spell multiple times via NG+ no longer causes the spell selection menu to glitch
- Using the demi frame with the luna lens no longer causes damage to enemies, and also now has the lens change color appropriately
- Various issues with the Tag Team mechanic have been fixed
- Autosave now happens after a room is loaded and so should no longer softlock files
- Getting a game over on the same frame as purifying/assimilating an immortal should no longer cause the game to softlock
- Taking a nap after doing La Lupe's redux boss fight should no longer cause her boss music to start playing
- Annie's face should be fixed during the day epilogue
- Resetting the Niflheimr boss fight using Dark Loans should no longer allow the player to boundary break
- Petit Val should no longer get stuck after dying during a boss fight
- Backtracking to La Lupe's Redux boss fight should now spawn in the next phase of her boss fight properly
- The smiths now accept the broken tablet even when they're in the camp
- Locke no longer does the Rosetta reward dialogue if either Annie or Emil is missing during NG+
- Mimics should no longer cause a permanent dialogue prompt to appear over a player's head
- The menu cursor has been made a little less sensitive for controllers to use without doubling over
- The denizens of Dark City will no longer talk to Emil while he's in his bird form
- Dora's text box is no longer blank if you tell her about Cody's whereabouts as Annie
- Enabling/Disabling the antialiasing option no longer saves it as the opposite toggle
- Several minor typos corrected
Below is stuff that was reported but I couldn't confirm was actually broken so I tried a blind fix:
- Gates open up in the mines even if you didn't solve the skeleton knocking puzzle
- Annie becomes frozen when bitten by the wolf in Phase 1 of Loptr's boss fight
- Loptr getting stuck in cubes during his Phase 1
- Items should no longer appear wide in the inventory upon opening the items menu
